Trying to solve a problem from the end of last season. I've got a 91 Johnny
30. Cranks easy, runs up high RPM really fast. Dies.
Any ideas? The weather is getting nice(NC), got the itch.

1. Fuel delivery issue - pump? 2. Sound like a fuel problem. It has enough in the carbs to start and then the rpm picks up as it leans out until it runs out of gas. Consider the carb. vent. I created this problem once when I made a new gasket. Seems like I forgot one tiny hole (which turned out to be an air vent allowing equalization of pressure in the bowl).
