At the Sacramento Boat and sports show last friday. Where are these
manufacturers coming up with the pricing? Look at 19' Lund with a 225 Merc
Vornado ($16,900) and a small kicker (probably $2500). Price of the boat
was $52,500 + Tax and license. Lund is a nice boat, but not that nice.
This is approching the price of nice 22' sports fishers. Davis Cortez 22 is
about $60k. And Boulton boats had a 20' with Honda and no kicker for $34k.
And the Boulton is a lot better built boat. All welded, 0.190 thick bottom,
fit and finish much nicer. He is a very good Northwest river boat builder.

And all this time I thought you knew everything. Do a google on Boulton and
Davis Boats of Morrow Bay. Much better than a Parker boat.

Can't google either I see. Try <a rel="nofollow" style='text-decoration: none;' href="http://www.davisboats.com/davisboats.htm" target="_blank">http://www.davisboats.com/davisboats.htm</a>

And a 20' Boulton is a lot nicer than a 19' Lund. Better fit and finish and
thicker aluminum. Plus he also makes nicer big aluminum boats like parkers.

Must be the shipping from Minnesota. The 2025 ProVee with 250 Verado
and 4600 lb Shorlandr goes for 42k here in minnesota. The 1900
ProVee/Yamaha F200 and trailer is 36k.

ProVee is the top of Lund fishing boats with all the bells and whistles
for a walleye/multispecies boat.

Could have been ProVee with extra shipping, but I still could not $52k+!

I was sort of joking about the extra shipping. More like extra profit.
Smile

They also make a "Tyee"series which is in the same price range as the
ProV, but is not as hard core a fishing boat. Walk thru windshield,
canvas available. Maybe the fanciest one of those with all the
options....

Did not really pay attention to the model. Was in shock from the price. I
have a 21' Jetcraft i/b jet. And replacement value on mine is about $48k.
But the boat is all welded, 0.190 thick bottom, 0.135 sides, walk through
windshield, 67 gallon tank, full flotation, thick girder system in the
bottom + 1/2" extra plate in the keel area of the new boats to keep the
bottom from punching through on a river boulder. But the engine is only
about $8000 for a FI 320 HP 350 marine Chevy (kodiak). Much stronger and
better appointed than the Lund.
