Anyone here into extreme surfing?
Seems the 'Red Bull' energy dring people are sponsering a winter surfing
championship today at Cow Bay...
on the edge of Halifax, Nova Scotia. No wussies from Florida need
apply......yes, that's you NOYB!

Sure is insane, you right-coasters don't get no surfin' waves! The WCVI has a
small but dedicated group of surfers that go out all year. The REAL surf is in
Feb! Wink

Our best surfin' waves are usually late August to October when a
hurricane/tropical storm passes by offshore.
