| Off to try out that new forward-facing drive system. There's a Tiara in
town for water demos of this new technology.
After taking a few spins around the bay, I'll report my observations
this eve. or tomorrow.

Do it. Let us know. You know, if you would put the manufactures web site in your
article somewhere, it would save us some searching to find pics of whatever
you're reviewing.

It must be nice to boat in water deep enough that you don't have to worry

Look for one of those partially floating logs and report on the aftereffects
of contact.

how to make it work? - Any reason I can't use a 4 cyl automotive tach for my 4 cyl o/b motor? The auto engine is 4 cycle, and the boat engine is 2 cycle. I'm just wondering what it take to make it useable on the o/b.
So what sort of work........................... - .............did you get done on your boat this weekend? Being boatless for the moment we spent the weekend attending to the yard and deck. Gawd I hate that. :-(
temerature gauge won't work. - Twin inboards, Mercruisers. Starboard temperature gauge does not work. I wired in a new gauge- still won't. work.. Need diagnostic approach to decide if the heat sender, wiring, gauge, bad ground, etc. is at fault. Thanks, Bill
Reverse sometimes doesnt work? - I would say that 2 out of 3 times when I slowly go from idle to reverse the engine will die (or almost die but I put it back in idle). The other time it goes into reverse just fine and I back on up. Forward never seems to have this problem. Anyone els... |
